About the FairThe 3 in 1 Mega Show was organized with the objectives of meeting the increasing business potential and growth in the Indonesian market. It strove to meet the meets of the three thriving industries with an added objective of competition in the international market.
The industries of plastic, print and packaging have been moving in tandem with advanced technologies and the demand of the market both domestically and internationally have been on the uptrend. The 3in1 Mega Show provided an opportunity to strengthen trade and commerce relations with both domestic and international business community in all three sectors.
The 3 in 1 Mega Show of Indoplas, Indopack and Indoprint was staged from 5th to 8th May 2010 at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran. From the number of visitors and transacted turnover, this Mega show is without a doubt the perfect platform for promoting joint ventures, collaborations of many local entrepreneurs and international organizations.
Strong Support from TradeThe extensive support from trade personnel include corporate visitors, agents, distributors, buyers, suppliers and entrepreneurs added to the sheer success of the Mega Show. With a strong and impactful promotion cum publicity campaign and strong support from trade associations, a total of 16,754 local and overseas trade professionals, registered and visited the Mega Show. Companies from Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Malaysia & Korea participated and showcased their products, highlighted the latest technologies, participated in the exchange of ideas, formation of allied contacts, strategic partnerships and closed deals that surpassed expectations.
Positive FeedbackFeedback from the exhibitors and visitors were positive and encouraging, a clear sign of endorsement and support for future such shows.
SHOW HIGH LIGHTSSeminar & Workshop

During the show, several related useful seminars and workshops were held concurrently. Topics and speakers from related industry were actively participated to share the up-dated knowledge to the Indonesian market.
“The Development of Bio-Polymer and Halal Plastics” was successfully held which organized by the Indonesian Olefin, Aromatic & Plastic Industry Association (INAPLAS) with its specific topics about biodegradable plastics, green plastic material, and degradable plastic bag.
The Indonesian Food & Beverage Association (GAPMMI) was held a “Food Dialogue” by inviting keynote speakers from Directorate General of Agro and Chemical Industry – Ministry of Industry, Directorate General of Domestic Trade – Ministry of Trade, the National Agency of Drug and Food Control, and other related speaker from associations.
For the second time, “Certified Plant Operator Program” was held in Indopack 2010 for two days. It was organized by Asia Middle East Bottled Water Association (ABWA) with keynote speaker from Thailand Mr Umpol Tuntha-obas. The seminar followed by the international certified examination on the second day.
The famous printing machinery company, HEIDELBERG, shared the “Success in Print – Benefit from the New Technology”. The seminar was presented the last technology of HEIDELBERG, including the Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52, Saphira Ink and CtP Plates.
“Is Printing Industry Entering Period of Gloaming ?” was held by the creative visual magazine – VERSUS. The seminar is presented by the famous offset printing company – Indonesia Printer.
A unique concept of seminar and consultation called “Klinik Grafika” was held with various specialists from pre-press, press, post-press and consumables. Each Specialist presented the direct knowledge as well as provided solutions to the Participants, and allowed a close interaction between the Specialist and Participants to solve the unsolved problem and to create effectiveness of working and producing.
A two days Seminar & Workshop “Production Plus” was successfully held. The workshop was full of participants not only from Jakarta, but also other cities in Indonesia, such as Jogjakarta, Semarang, Aceh, Padang, Manado and Bali. Many participants testified that the material given is gainful to their work.

PROMOTION CAMPAIGNNo efforts were spared to ensure an aggressive publicity and promotion campaign. Various forms of media were used to success to ensure reach to targeted groups of trade professionals and industry players.
Direct Mailing & Electronic Direct Mailing:Over 15,000 direct mailing and 40,000 electronic direct mailing were sent to trade buyers to introduce the fair, promote exhibiting companies and assist overseas trade buyers to plan their itinerary and agenda.
Industrial Associations:The Mega Show was endorsed and supported by industrial associations nationwide. They include:

These associations were relentless in their efforts to organize and invite trade personnel. The result was a successful turnout of industry professionals, buyers and purchasers to the Exhibition.
